Our sustainable packaging
As an accountable company, we use sustainable packaging to pack all our orders. If you have followed us for long, you might know that to be sustainable and ethical has always been a goal that we are working for. We hope after reading this article, you will know more about our ethos and how we are showing sustainability at Jentle.
What is sustainable packaging?
Sustainable packaging is the development and use of packing which results in improved sustainability. In that case, the materials that are used to pack the products have to be eco-friendly which reduces the environmental impact and ecological footprint.
Since our brand Jentle was launched, we have been thinking about how to make our brand accountable for a sustainable living style. The whole sustainable journey contains three main factors: recycle, reuse and reduce.
1. Use recyclable materials
At Jentle, all the stickers that we use shipping labels are recycable. The large letter boxes and courier bags in which we ship your jewelry pieces are also 100% recyclable and eco-friendly. Moreover, we have also switched our packing paper to eco-friendly materials. Our Thank-you cards and discount cards are also designed and printed in our studio with recyclable paper cards.
2. Reuse package components
With every order, we include a cute little jewelry pouch which can be reused and help you to store your jewelry pieces. This little pouch has been loved by so many of our customers for a reason. They are reusable and can easily store your jewelry pieces when you are on the go. Besides, they just look so cute.
3. Reduce waste
Currently, most of our jewellery pieces are made at our suppliers' factories in Foshan and Guangzhou, China. When choosing the suppliers for making jewelry, we tend to coporate with the suppliers who reduce any unnecessary waste during the produtive process. As a small business we are aware that it is not easy for us to oversee the whole supply chain but as the brand slowly grows we are aiming to spend more resources on making sure that our suppliers put sustainability at the forefront of their business.
