The Dara N°3 Ear Studs place two five-point stars on a single base — one larger, one smaller, set at different angles like two stars caught mid-flight across the same patch of sky. White zircon stones are set across both stars, so the whole piece catches light not from one point but from many — a scatter of brightness that shifts with every movement of the head.
The Most Dimensional Piece in the Dara Collection
The Dara N°1 drops a single star below the lobe. The N°2 gives the star texture and presence. The N°3 multiplies the star entirely — two of them, different sizes, different orientations, sharing one base. The Dara N°3 wears the same on both ears, but the asymmetric double-star design means the earring itself is already doing the work of two pieces — a big star and a small star, in conversation with each other on a single stud. Behind the Dara Collection
The Dara Collection was born from the same inspiration as the Starla — the beauty of stars and astronomical phenomena — but took a different path to get there. Designer Jennifer Huang spent $7,000 and 200 hours developing the collection, refining each piece through seven rounds of sample revisions before the designs were right. The N°3's double-star arrangement was one of the most technically demanding pieces in the process: getting two stars to share a base without one overwhelming the other required multiple iterations of size ratio and angle before the balance was perfect.
