The Dara Collection was born from stars. The Dara N°4 finds a different way to speak that language — not through a star shape, but through the orbit.
Two silver hoops, one inside the other, sit close against the lobe in the huggie style. The inner hoop is set with white zircon stones that run along its arc, catching light the way a ring of light appears around a star on a clear night — circular, continuous, quietly brilliant. The outer hoop frames the inner one in clean polished silver, giving the whole piece a structured, architectural presence that reads as refined from every angle.
Two Hoops, One Idea
Most double hoop earrings use two identical rings. The Dara N°4 uses two rings of different scales — inner and outer — so the piece has depth rather than just width. On the ear, the layered effect creates a sense of dimension that a single hoop can't achieve: something that looks more complex than it is, more intentional than it appears.
The zircon line on the inner hoop means the sparkle comes from within the structure, not from a pendant or a surface stone — an inward light, the way a star glows from its own core.
Where the Dara Collection Goes Next
The N°1 drops a star below the lobe. The N°2 gives the star texture. The N°3 multiplies the star into two. The N°4 steps back from the star shape entirely and asks what a star feels like — circular light, orbital movement, the geometry of something revolving rather than pointing. It's the most abstract piece in the collection, and the most versatile: wearable with anything, readable by anyone, requiring no explanation.
Behind the Dara Collection
The Dara Collection was inspired by the beauty of stars and astronomical phenomena. Designer Jennifer Huang spent $7,000 and 200 hours developing the collection across seven rounds of sample revisions. The N°4's double hoop proportion — getting the size relationship between inner and outer ring right, and placing the zircon line at exactly the correct position — was one of the final details to be resolved before the collection was complete.
