The Dara N°5 Ear Studs capture that movement — not the star itself, but the trail it leaves behind. An asymmetric arc of white zircon stones sweeps horizontally across the lobe, widening at one end and tapering at the other, like a meteor caught mid-flight across a patch of night sky. At 14mm × 6mm, it sits flush against the ear but travels across it — an earring that uses the lobe as a canvas rather than just a surface to pin something onto.

An Earring That Moves Without Moving

The Dara N°5 is an ear crawler in the truest sense — it doesn't hang, it doesn't dangle, it doesn't sit at a single point. The zircon arc follows the natural curve of the lobe, so the piece looks as if it's in motion even when it's perfectly still. From the front, you see a sweep of light. From the side, the horizontal profile almost disappears — which makes it as close to a trick of light as jewelry can get.

The Most Distinctive Silhouette in the Dara Collection

Every other piece in the Dara Collection centers on a star shape — five points, clear geometry, immediately recognizable. The N°5 abandons the shape and keeps only the feeling: the streak of brightness that appears when a star moves fast enough to leave a trace. Behind the Dara Collection

The Dara Collection was inspired by the beauty of stars and astronomical phenomena. Designer Jennifer Huang spent $7,000 and 200 hours developing the collection across seven rounds of sample revisions. The N°5's crawler silhouette — getting the zircon arc to sit flush and stable across the lobe at exactly the right angle — was one of the most technically demanding details in the collection to resolve.
